Then the children were encouraged to talk to the fully dressed fireman to hear his voice through the breathing equipment, which sounds a lot like the Star War character Darth Vader, so again they would not be frightened in a fire situation if a fireman were calling out to them.
Firefighter Paramedics Chad Baker and James Ward, took them for a ”pretend” ride in an ambulance and hooking them up to an EKG monitor so they would be familiar with the sights and sounds they might hear should they ever require a real ambulance ride.
